At St. Lawrence Hall, the chandelier is part of the Great Hall’s character and a defining feature of one of Toronto’s recognized heritage spaces. South Central Inc. supported its careful restoration and reinstallation with coordinated rigging, hoisting and placement.
Work around irreplaceable decorative elements required disciplined planning, controlled movement and close coordination with the restoration team. Access, handling and sequencing were considered together so the chandelier could be returned to its intended position while respecting the building and the surrounding finishes.
